Many of our courses don't require any experience or qualifications to get started on your way to success.

If you meet the basic requirements, you don't need anything except a computer to access your course (see system requirements here). We'll provide all the learning materials and tutor support you need to achieve your goals.

Online learning allows you to shape learning seamlessly around your career, family, and life.

Instead of attending a classroom or college, you'll access your course through our online campus (known as the Student Community) using your computer, laptop, mobile or tablet.

You can log in to your course anywhere, anytime, whether it's from home, your office, or during your commute or lunch break.

You'll work through your course at your own pace - the only deadlines are any exams you have (if your course is assessed by exam) and the end of your generous support period, which marks the end of your access to the course.

Our CIPD HR courses offer students the chance to study 100% online On Demand or Live Online in the UK and Ireland regions.

On Demand learning offers flexibility with self-guided engagement, allowing you to progress through course materials at your own pace. Live Online learning offers the same opportunities to study flexibly, only it involves live-streamed CIPD workshops with other students, all led by your expert tutor.

Yes, all our courses are available to international students, so you can study from any country except Iran, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, and North Korea. We have students in more than 90 countries.

If your course involves exams, you should contact your local British Council office to find out if you can sit these exams locally. If not, you may need to travel to your nearest exam location or to the UK.

You can also enrol on GCSE and A Level courses online. Just click 'Add to Basket' on the relevant course page. 

The price of your course will vary depending on the qualification you choose. You'll find full details of the course cost and interest-free* payment plan on each course page.

Any additional exam fees, registration fees, membership fees or course materials that must be paid for are clearly shown in each course page's 'Additional Fees' section, so there are no unexpected surprises.

You'll enrol on your course with a small deposit, then pay the rest through a monthly direct debit at no extra cost.

Our plans are flexible, so you can pay your balance off sooner if you choose. You also have the option of paying the full amount upfront.

mystudyspace is your 24/7 online campus. You'll use it to access your course, submit assignments, contact your tutor and support, chat with other students, and update your details and payment info.

You'll receive your login details within 1 working day of enrolling, and you can log in anytime from your mobile, tablet, or laptop.

You'll have unlimited support from your personal tutor from the moment you enrol to the moment you graduate. They'll help you with any academic questions you have about your coursework and assignments.

You can post a question for them online or arrange a phone call.

You'll also be supported by our friendly Student Services team, who'll answer any non-academic questions you have. They can help with your payment plan, exam info, using mystudyspace, and anything else you need.

You should receive your login details for the Student Community within 1 working day of enrolling.

Every course is different, so on each course page you'll find information on the average completion time as well as the support period we provide.

The support period indicates how long you'll have access to your course and support for. You can complete the course as quickly or slowly as you choose within this period; the time it takes will depend on how much time you're able to devote to learning each week.

If you think you need more time, we may be able to extend the support period for an additional fee by speaking to our Student Services team. Please be aware that not all courses can be extended, and you can only extend a course a limited number of times.

Depending on your course, you may be assessed through exams, workshops, or written assignments submitted online. You'll find full details on each course page and within each course guide.

If you need to sit in-person exams, this will be noted on the course page, including any additional fees you might have to pay for exams or awarding body membership.

All our courses are accredited by globally recognised awarding bodies such as CIPD and AQA. Your qualification will be awarded by the relevant awarding body for your course - you'll see their logo on each course page.

The qualification you receive will be exactly the same as if you'd studied in school, college or university, and will be recognised and respected by employers worldwide.

A qualification is known as a Diploma, Certificate or Award based on how many learning hours it takes to complete.

(Note that this doesn’t indicate how advanced the material is – the difficulty is indicated by the 'Level' of the course. For example, Level 2 courses are roughly the same level of difficulty as GCSEs, while Level 7 courses are set at postgraduate level.)

• Diplomas are the most comprehensive and in-depth qualifications at each Level. They'll take the longest to complete.
• Certificates are slightly shorter, covering essential knowledge at each Level.
• Awards are very short, generally covering only one subject.

Depending on the subject you're studying, there may be only one length of qualification available at each Level, or there may be a choice of Diplomas, Certificates or Awards so that you can choose how comprehensive your qualification will be.
