CIPD Student Stories: Kirstin Leineke | Level 5 Associate Diploma Review

Kirstin made the move from Canada to England and as a HR Professional, she wanted to make sure she was up to date with the UK HR Employment Law and Common Practices. She is currently working towards her Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management. 

Before moving to England, I was working as an HR generalist in Canada. Upon my arrival, I wanted to ensure that I was prepared for a human resources role in a new country, and better acquaint myself with UK employment law and common practices. That’s when I decided to pursue the CIPD level 5 diploma in People Management and found ICS learn.

I chose ICS learn for the freedom and flexibility that they offered, and they have been the ideal course provider for me.

As a people practitioner my aim has always been to provide employees with a healthy and rewarding work environment. I enjoy working with organisations to improve the employee experience and foster a positive company culture. I feel this diploma will only help me to continue to do this and improve the impact I have on the organisations I work for.
