CIPS Student Story: Jasmine Thompson | CIPS Level 3 Review

Jasmine wanted to enhance her procurement career with an industry accredited qualification. Therefore, she decided to enrol for the CIPS Level 3 Certificate with ICS Learn.

I am currently employed as a buyer at Vanilla Electronics and I have been working here for 3 years and have recently enrolled with ICS Learn to do my CIPS Level 3 qualification. Online learning can be very controversial and having never experienced this type of education before I was also sceptical, however because ICS Learn has a great support system which is not just online, this helps give a piece of mind that you are able to progress with your course fully supported by your personal tutor and also lots of learning material. This made me feel more at ease with my decision.

Face-to-face learning isn’t an easy option whilst working full time so ICS Learn was a great opportunity.

As I am progressing through my course I am gaining confidence within my employment knowing that I have a new found knowledge and awareness of the industry.

Once I have gained my qualification I am looking forward to progressing within my career and reaching a managerial level in the procurement industry. I may also aim to progress through the levels of CIPS with ICS Learn.
